Account & Project Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account & Project Manager based in the United States.

As an Account & Project Manager, you’ll own the full lifecycle of marketing and advertising projects, from kickoff and financial planning through execution, delivery, and closeout.
You’ll serve as a trusted day-to-day partner for clients while coordinating multidisciplinary teams across strategy, creative, media, analytics, SEO, CRM, and web.
Your work will ensure projects stay aligned with client objectives, timelines, budgets, scope, and measurable business outcomes.
You’ll combine strong project management with commercial awareness, using data and performance insights to protect profitability and identify opportunities for growth.
The role requires a proactive approach to communication, problem-solving, resource planning, and removing obstacles before they affect delivery.
You’ll also help clients recognize the value of completed work and identify opportunities for expansion and long-term partnership.

Accountabilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of a diverse portfolio of brand, media, creative, SEO, CRM, and consulting projects, from initiation through successful completion.

• Establish clear project goals, scopes, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and success metrics in partnership with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Track project scope, pace, financial performance, and profitability, proactively addressing risks and taking accountability for keeping engagements on target.

• Build realistic project timelines, coordinate resources, manage dependencies, and remove roadblocks so cross-functional teams can deliver high-quality work efficiently.

• Keep internal teams aligned through concise, timely communication and clear project updates, fostering collaboration and accountability across disciplines.

• Maintain high production standards and ensure deliverables meet agreed requirements, quality expectations, timelines, and client objectives.

• Lead day-to-day client communication, serving as a primary point of contact and providing clear, empathetic, and solutions-oriented guidance.

• Facilitate focused client meetings with clear agendas, decisions, action items, and next steps.

• Monitor project progress against KPIs and business objectives, using data and performance insights to recommend adjustments and maintain focus on measurable outcomes.

• Identify scope, budget, timeline, and resource changes early, clearly communicate their impact, and recommend practical solutions that preserve momentum and project value.

• Conduct post-project analysis to evaluate performance, identify efficiencies, and help teams improve future campaigns and solutions.

• Build strong client relationships by connecting project outcomes and successes to broader business objectives.

• Identify opportunities for account expansion and renewal by demonstrating measurable value and helping clients address evolving marketing needs.

• Contribute to a collaborative agency culture by sharing knowledge, improving processes, and helping teams work more effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 3+ years of experience in project management, account management, agency environments, or a combination of relevant experience.

• Demonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of marketing and advertising projects from planning through delivery and closeout.

• Experience tracking project KPIs, budgets, pace, margins, scope, and profitability.

• Proven experience managing client relationships and serving as a primary point of contact.

• Experience working with project management software and coordinating multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.

• Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams spanning areas such as creative, media, analytics, SEO, CRM, web, and strategy.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas, expectations, risks, and recommendations clearly.

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to identify operational efficiencies and develop improved ways of working.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented approach to managing project challenges.

• Ability to connect marketing activities and project execution to broader client business goals and measurable outcomes.

• Strong client-service mindset, with an emphasis on building trust, maintaining alignment, and delivering a positive client experience.
