AUTO HAUS is excited to announce an opening for an Entry Level Account Payable Clerk to join our dynamic team, based remotely in Yorktown. This full-time position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their career in the automotive industry.
As an Account Payable Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. You will collaborate with various departments to support financial operations and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service in the automotive sector. We offer a competitive salary range of $52,416 to $62,454 annually, along with benefits and a supportive work culture aimed at professional development.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming invoices and ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assist with payment processing and reconciliation tasks
- Review and verify accounting documents and reports
- Coordinate with vendors regarding payment inquiries
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions
- Support month-end closing activities
- Assist with audits and other financial reviews
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- A commitment to learning and developing financial skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in a finance-related role is a plus but not required
