Senior Account Executive, Enterprise

Role Overview:
Drive meaningful revenue growth by bringing modern customer experience solutions to enterprise organizations navigating complex digital transformation. This role directly impacts how leading brands engage with millions of customers, improving satisfaction, efficiency, and long-term loyalty. At Genesys, we are redefining customer experience through AI-powered innovation and human-centered design, empowering organizations to deliver seamless, personalized interactions at scale. You will own a high-visibility territory, shape go-to-market strategy, and influence outcomes across large, multi-stakeholder deals. This position offers direct exposure to enterprise decision-makers and the opportunity to expand your impact across a fast-evolving, high-growth market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end territory strategy, driving pipeline creation, deal execution, and revenue outcomes across enterprise accounts
• Acquire new enterprise customers by designing and executing targeted outbound and demand generation strategies
• Lead complex, multi-threaded sales cycles that align Genesys solutions to measurable customer business outcomes
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships, influencing stakeholders across business and technical functions
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations, proposals, and executive presentations that resonate with both technical and C-suite audiences
• Drive accurate forecasting using MEDDPICC methodology, ensuring pipeline visibility and accountability to quarterly targets
• Collaborate with internal teams, including solution consultants and leadership, to position differentiated value in competitive deals
• Maintain deep expertise in Genesys Cloud, industry trends, and competitive positioning to strengthen deal strategy and win rates

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in enterprise or strategic accounts
• Demonstrated success closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with measurable revenue impact
• Experience managing full-cycle sales processes, including prospecting, pipeline development, forecasting, negotiation, and closing
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate business value to senior leaders
• Proven ability to independently generate pipeline and drive territory growth
• Experience applying structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or similar frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience selling cloud-based or SaaS solutions within enterprise environments
• Background in customer experience, contact center, or related technology platforms
• Track record of exceeding quota in highly competitive markets
• Ability to translate technical capabilities into strategic business outcomes

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.  

$111,700.00 - $196,300.00
