Account Executive - AI FP&A Suite (C-Suite Sales)

The Opportunity

Finance leaders are drowning in data but starved for insight. FYIsoft is launching an AI-powered FP&A and analytics suite that gives CFOs and finance executives real-time, board-ready strategic analysis — without the security trade-offs of public AI tools. Built on a private, secure platform purpose-built for finance data, this product turns weeks of manual analysis into minutes of decision-ready insight.

We’re looking for a founding-team Account Executive to help launch this product into the market, sell directly to the C-suite, and shape our go-to-market strategy from the ground up. This is a rare chance to get in early on an AI product category before it’s crowded — and to build a track record (and a book of business) as the category leader’s first rep.

What You’ll Do

• Own the full sales cycle for FYIsoft’s new AI FP&A suite, selling directly to CFOs, VPs of Finance, and other C-suite stakeholders
• Consistently hit and exceed quota, converting your finance domain expertise into trusted advisor status with sophisticated buyers
• Translate complex AI and analytics capabilities into clear business value for executives who care about strategic decision-making, not technical specs
• Partner directly with leadership and product teams to shape go-to-market and sales strategy for a brand-new product category — your field feedback will directly influence positioning, pricing, and roadmap
• Build and manage a pipeline of enterprise-level, C-suite relationships from prospecting through close
• Represent FYIsoft’s broader platform (ReportFYI, BudgetFYI, ConnectFYI, AnalyticsFYI) as part of a strategic account approach where relevant
• Serve as a credible voice on data security and privacy — a key differentiator when selling AI into finance organizations

What You Bring

• Finance background required — you understand FP&A, financial reporting, and how CFOs think, not just how to run a sales process
• Proven experience selling FP&A, financial planning, or related finance/analytics software, with a track record of hitting or exceeding quota
• Comfort and credibility selling to C-suite/executive buyers — you can hold your own in a room with a CFO
• Genuine interest in AI and ability to speak fluently about how AI creates value for finance teams (you don’t need to be technical, but you can’t be AI-skeptical or out of your depth)
• An entrepreneurial mindset — you’re energized by building something new, not just running an existing playbook
• MBA preferred, not required
• Self-starter who wants a seat at the strategy table, not just a quota to hit

Compensation & Growth

• The base salary range for this role is $100,000–$120,000, depending on experience, location, and qualifications. This role also includes uncapped commission, with on-target earnings (OTE) of approximately $100,000–$200,000 when combined with base pay — with no ceiling on what top performers can earn. Accelerators for over-quota achievement.
