The Opportunity
The Account Executive is responsible for driving new business growth by partnering with home service businesses to deliver performance-based customer acquisition solutions. This role combines inbound lead management with outbound prospecting, consultative selling, and relationship building in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
Success in this role requires strong business acumen, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to consistently exceed sales goals while delivering measurable value to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through inbound leads and outbound prospecting.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline using Salesforce and other sales tools.
- Conduct discovery, understand customer needs, and present tailored solutions.
- Communicate eLocal's value proposition and ROI-driven advertising model.
- Negotiate and close new business while ensuring a smooth customer onboarding experience.
- Partner with Customer Success to support client retention, growth, and long-term satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM documentation, and sales activity.
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales and activity goals.
- Participate in ongoing coaching, training, and professional development.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in inside sales, digital marketing, lead generation, advertising, or a related industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, objection handling, and closing skills.
- Ability to build credibility with business owners and decision-makers.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
Preferred
- Experience selling digital marketing, lead generation, or performance marketing solutions.
- Familiarity with home service industries (HVAC, Plumbing, Roofing, Electrical, Restoration, Pest Control, etc.).
- Competitive, coachable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
