Enrichment Coordinator
Position Overview
The Program Coordinator for Academy Enrichment serves as the daily point person for the after-school enrichment program, helping ensure students are accounted for, teachers are supported, classrooms are running smoothly, and dismissal to parents or Extended Day transitions are organized and overseen.
Key Responsibilities
Student Arrival & Attendance
Prepare the Stevens Center for student arrival, including snacks, signage, and attendance materials.
Welcome students at 3:30 PM, take attendance, and enter attendance into CampBrain.
Organize students by class and facilitate their handoff to enrichment teachers.
Provide teachers with attendance clipboards and rosters.
Program Support
Check in on enrichment classrooms throughout to ensure programs are running smoothly.
Provide logistical support to teachers and students as needed.
Provide classroom coverage when needed and when qualified.
Communicate significant student, staffing, or safety concerns to the Summer and Auxiliary Programs Director.
Upper School Community Commitment
Coordinate and oversee Upper School students completing community commitment hours within Academy Enrichment.
Track their attendance and hours and communicate this information to the Director and/or designated Upper School contact.
Dismissal & Extended Day
Support the 4:30 PM and 4:45 dismissal; teachers remain responsible for their own student dismissal.
Collect attendance clipboards and confirm students are accounted for.
Ensure students transitioning to Extended Day are smoothly handed off to the Extended Day team.
Administrative Support
Maintain accurate student attendance records in CampBrain.
Track teacher attendance, days worked, substitutions, and schedule changes for payroll.
Clean and reset the Stevens Center at the end of the afternoon.
Program Development
Share ideas and observations that may help strengthen Academy Enrichment and contribute ideas for future enrichment offerings.
Qualifications
Associate degree or higher preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience working with children or youth in a school, camp, enrichment, or similar setting
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable using technology and maintaining accurate records
Comfortable working independently and with both younger students and Upper School students
CampBrain experience is a plus
