Job Description
Vision: The 56 Coordinator serves as the operational and administrative support leader for 56 Ministry. This role oversees ministry systems, communications, volunteer engagement, event coordination, and administrative processes that support the discipleship of fifth and sixth grade students and their families. The Coordinator helps ensure ministry initiatives are organized, communicated, and executed with excellence while aligning with The Bible Chapel's mission, values, and ministry standards.
Responsibilities:
Ministry Operations & Event Leadership

- Coordinate the planning and execution of 56 events, retreats, camps, and special programs.
- Manage event registrations, logistics, facility requests, purchasing requests, and ministry timelines.
- Support operational details before, during, and after ministry events.
- Ensure event-related administrative processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Attend and support 56 ministry events as needed.
Communications & Engagement

- Coordinate communication to students, parents, and volunteers within 56 Ministry.
- Assist in developing communication schedules and messaging through email, text, social media, website, and print materials.
- Manage communication workflows through Planning Center and REALM.
- Respond to ministry inquiries and provide timely follow-up.
Systems, Data & Administration

- Maintain Planning Center, REALM, attendance records, reporting, and ministry databases.
- Generate ministry reports and participation metrics.
- Manage ministry calendars and scheduling.
- Ensure forms, registrations, printed materials, and ministry resources are completed accurately and on time.
Volunteer Recruitment & Development

- Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, and retain a 56 office volunteer team.
- Support volunteer communication, organization, and engagement efforts.
- Provide encouragement and recognition to volunteer team members.
Budget & Team Support

- Assist with expense tracking, reimbursements, and event-specific budgets.
- Provide administrative support for ministry meetings, planning, and ministry initiatives.
- Track action items and support follow-through on assigned projects.
Ministry Participation

Champion and embody The Bible Chapel's mission of developing followers of Jesus Christ.
- Maintain regular attendance and participation in church services, meetings, activities, staff functions, and ministry events as required.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of 56.

Spiritual Gifts: Administration, Leadership, Discernment, Encouragement
Qualifications: The ideal candidate is a mature believer in Jesus Christ who agrees with the beliefs and teachings of The Bible Chapel and has a passion for discipling students and families. They possess strong organizational, administrative, communication, and project management skills, along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to become proficient in Planning Center, REALM, and other ministry software. They should be a collaborative, process-oriented leader capable of recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required.
Time/Allocation: Part-time, Stipend Tier 2 (10 – 14.5 hrs/wk)
Reporting: The 56 Coordinator reports to the Director of 56.
