2nd Shift Part-Time Industrial Custodian/Janitor

Metko, Inc., a local leader and family-owned business in the custom metal and tank fabrication industry, is seeking to directly hire a part-time Industrial Custodian (Janitor) for a 2nd shift opening in its New Holstein, WI, facility.

*** ALL APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE A STABLE WORK HISTORY AND POSSESS A PROVEN WORK ATTENDANCE RECORD. ***

Hours for the position are 3 to 4 hours per day Monday through Friday every week.  The 3 to 4 hours worked each day can be flexible during the 2nd shift which runs from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM.   

If hired, you will be working for a well-established, family-owned custom metal fabrication facility with a strong foothold in the industry that is experiencing continued and steady growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

The individual will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Sweeping of all shop floors in multiple buildings utilizing a sweeper machine.
• Using a broom and air hose to clean hard-to-reach areas.
• Removal of garbage.
• Cleaning the air compressor and air compressor room.
• Maintaining/Cleaning the yard outside the buildings.
• Wiping down machines and computer workstations.
• Cleaning lights, windows, shelves, benches and racks.
• Cleaning the shipping area.
• If needed, shoveling snow during shift.
• Assisting other custodians and the maintenance staff as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must have the ability to take direction and be a self-starter.
• Must possess self-disciplined and motivated working habits.
• Any prior custodian, janitorial or facilities maintenance experience would be considered a plus.
