During your internship, you'll undertake a range of tasks that actively contribute to your development:

• Develop a comprehensive grasp of Kirsch CPA Group's accounting and tax approach
• Prepare meticulous work papers for clients spanning various industries
• Craft annual income tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and corporations
• Curate and manage client depreciation schedules for fixed assets and intangible property
• Engage in research on intricate tax issues and proficiently address routine tax notices
• Interns may have the chance to support a multitude of accounting services tasks, including crafting financial statements, conducting trend analysis, scrutinizing key metrics, and confidently presenting insights to clients.

Qualities We Seek in Candidates

We're on the lookout for individuals who embody accounting excellence and possess outstanding leadership and communication skills. We encourage applications from candidates meeting the following criteria:

• Pursuing an Accounting Major with a strong interest in tax and business advisory services
• Maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.2
• Willing to work 20-40 hours during the tax season, which may encompass Saturdays
• Displaying a strong ambition for a career in tax and business consulting
• Demonstrating a proven grasp of transactional accounting and entries
• Exhibiting a detail-oriented approach and exceptional organizational skills
