2027 Summer Analyst, Related Ross Foundation

Responsibilities

This Foundation Summer Analyst will support the interdisciplinary work spanning the Related Ross Foundation. This role is ideal for students passionate about community development, economic mobility, real estate, and social impact.

Foundation & Social Impact (Related Ross Foundation)

• Support grantmaking research, nonprofit due diligence, and documentation of community partnerships.
• Assist with program design related to education and health and wellness initiatives.
• Contribute to tracking and evaluation of philanthropic investments in target.
• Participate in resident‑centered engagement and support planning for Foundation events (e.g., job fairs, workforce programs, education partnerships)
• Assist with reviewing grant applications, preparing reports, and supporting cross-functional teams

Qualifications

Related Ross’s Summer Analyst Program aims to train and evaluate the next generation of leaders. To be considered for the 2027 Summer Analyst program, applicants must meet the following criteria: 

• Current undergraduate sophomore or junior with a target graduation date between December 2027-May 2029 
• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field (urban studies, real estate, public policy, economics, nonprofit management, business, or similar).
• Demonstrate strong communication, writing, and research skills.
• Strong attention to detail
• Interest in real estate development, community investment, or social impact
• Demonstrates clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing 
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to tackling tasks and challenges 
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment  
• Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA

Program Overview: 

Our formal 9 to 10-week internship programs provide students with the opportunity to work on critical projects integral to our team's success. Interns work alongside some of the best minds in Real Estate, in an innovative, fast-paced environment and are expected to approach tasks and projects with dedication and initiative. 

Our internship program connects students with industry leaders and provides foundational real estate knowledge through a speaker series and networking events. We focus on accelerating growth with hands-on professional development and training. Recognizing that real estate thrives on relationships, we create engaging experiences with volunteering, portfolio tours, and intern led activities, all designed to build collaboration and a connected cohort.
