2027 Stephens Insurance Summer Intern

The Stephens Insurance Summer Internship Program is an opportunity to gain experience in the dynamic world of insurance risk management. This rotational program is designed to expose interns to multiple disciplines within Stephens Insurance, providing a comprehensive understanding of how we deliver a full suite of insurance solutions to our clients.

Program Overview:
This program will be hosted at our Little Rock headquarters. Over the course of 10 weeks, interns will gain exposure to the following:

• Client Service: Claims, Risk Management Consulting, Loss Control, Insurance Program Design, and Insurance Placement Strategy.
• Firm Operations: InsurTech, Finance, and Accounting Functions.

Internship Goals:

• Work alongside experienced client executives and specialists in each discipline.
• Gain exposure to various insurance coverages and develop analytical skills through policy reviews and analysis.
• Learn about the data infrastructure that drives our risk management strategy.
• Participate in team meetings, client calls, and strategic planning sessions.
• Learn how brokers evaluate risk and craft tailored insurance solutions for our clients.
• Develop presentation and communication skills as part of a comprehensive capstone presentation.

Application Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university undergraduate program (rising Senior is strongly preferred).
• Majors: Risk Management & Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, and related fields.
• GPA: 3.5 or higher (or equivalent academic standing).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, curious, and collaborative.
• Self-starter with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
