2027-2028 Content and Marketing Fellow

This role is part of the Augusta National Fellowship Program, a 10-month, paid post-graduate program based onsite in Augusta, Georgia. The program provides Fellows with hands-on professional experience and meaningful opportunities to contribute within their respective areas while gaining exposure to Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament. Housing assistance is available for this Fellowship.

As an integrated member of the Business Affairs team, the Content and Marketing Fellow will support all phases of content and marketing efforts for Augusta National Golf Club, the Masters Tournament and Masters Tournament Charities (MTC) events – including the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, Latin America Amateur Championship, and Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals – from August 2027 – May 2028.

This position will be intimately involved in all aspects of planning, production and operations of digital content and marketing initiatives, with the goal of growing audiences, deepening fan engagement and delivering best-in-class content. The ideal candidate possesses baseline content production abilities, is detail-oriented and eager to learn.

Essential Functions of the Job

• Supports digital content operations, planning, creation, production and distribution in collaboration with various Content and Marketing teammates.

• Supports all logistical operations of the Content Center during the Masters Tournament, Augusta National Women’s Amateur and Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals.

• Provides relevant marketing and content support for all amateur and junior golf initiatives, including the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, Drive, Chip and Putt, Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship and Latin America Amateur Championship.

• Assists with the retrieval and editing of photo and video content, under the direction of Content Managers.

• Assists with the planning and coordination of on-site production shoots; accompanies external groups while on-site.

• Collaborates on Brand and Marketing initiatives, including copy writing, asset creation, creative review and providing cross-functional support for interdepartmental projects.

• Liaises with third-party vendors and content production partners before and during Tournament to support any needs or questions; distributes Tournament-related materials, including photos, video assets, logo files and brand guidelines.

• Assists with the credentialing process for all content personnel for the Masters Tournament, Augusta National Women’s Amateur and Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals.

• Assist the Content and Marketing teams with project management, including note taking, tracking action items and providing regular status updates.

• Occasionally required to walk and work with hands and arms, lift up to 25 pounds and/or drive a golf cart.

• Constantly required to sit, sometimes for several hours at a time, and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Qualifications: Skills/Knowledge/Attributes:

• Knowledge and understanding of content production and publishing

• Knowledge of television, streaming services, and their respective users

• Knowledge of content management systems and social media publishing platforms

• Skilled with multimedia content production techniques, including photo, video and design

• Skilled with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and InDesign

• Innovative thinker with ability to efficiently solve problems

• Excellent analytical skills and ability to assess digital content performance

• Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines

• Deep understanding of golf, Augusta National and the Masters Tournament

Relative Experience/Education:

• Currently enrolled or a recent graduate in an accredited college or university with junior or senior class standing in a Bachelors program, preferably in Business, Sports Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Film & Television Production

• Experience in sports information/administration, production, media relations, communications or journalism is preferred

Required License(s):

Possess a valid driver’s license and/or successfully completes the Club’s internal motor vehicle training program

Projected Work Schedule:

Normal work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
