We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate team at Niklife Home Care Inc. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to children and individuals in their homes, contributing to their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to children with medical complexities in a home setting.
- Assist with physical examinations and monitor patients' health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate families on patient care and health management strategies.
- Document patient progress and report any changes in condition promptly.
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience working with children or in pediatric nursing preferred.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and families.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare software systems such as Axxess is a plus.
