Position Summary 

We are seeking a talented and polished Licensed Cosmetologist to provide exceptional hair styling and makeup services for guests at our luxury beachfront resort. This role is dedicated exclusively to hair and makeup for resort guests, weddings, special events, photoshoots, and VIP experiences. The ideal candidate embodies professionalism, creativity, and a passion for personalized, high-end beauty services in a relaxed yet refined seaside environment.  

Key Responsibilities 

Provide professional hair styling services, including blowouts, updos, braids, beach-inspired styling, and special-event looks 

Perform makeup applications ranging from natural daytime looks to glamorous evening and bridal makeup 

Consult with guests to understand preferences, skin/hair needs, and desired results 

Deliver luxury-level guest experiences with attention to detail, discretion, and personalization  

Maintain impeccable sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards for tools and work areas 

Stay current on beauty trends, products, and techniques relevant to resort, bridal, and beach climates 

Prepare guests for weddings, events, photoshoots, and on-property celebrations 

Collaborate with spa, events, and guest services team to ensure seamless experiences 

Manage time efficiently to accommodate appointments, peak seasons, and special events 

Represent the resort brand with professionalism, warmth, and elevated presentation

QualificationsQualifications 

Current state cosmetology license in good standing and insured providing Certificate of Insurance 

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in hair and makeup services (luxury, bridal, or resort experience preferred) 

Strong knowledge of makeup application for various skin tones, face shapes, and lighting conditions 

Expertise in hair styling suitable for humid, beach, and outdoor environments 

Ability to create polished, long-lasting looks appropriate for resort activities and events 

Excellent communication and customer service skills 

Comfortable working flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and event-based hours 

Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with luxury hospitality standards 

Preferred Skills 

Bridal and special-event hair and makeup experience 

Airbrush makeup certification or experience 

Multicultural beauty experience 

Product knowledge in luxury or professional beauty brands
