Job Description

LETS Therapy  |  Virtual  |  2026–2027 School Year

LETS Therapy is seeking a qualified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to support Pennsylvania students in grades 3 through 10. Available referrals range from brief monthly consultation to weekly 30 or 60-minute services, making this a strong option for an educator who wants meaningful work without committing to a full-time caseload.

Build Work Around Your Life
Already working full time or balancing another position? That is not a problem. Virtual sessions may be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., based on each student’s availability. You can take one case, several cases, or build a larger caseload. We will work with you to find a schedule that is realistic and sustainable.

What You Will Do

  • Provide virtual direct instruction and consultation in accordance with student IEPs.
  • Support communication, educational access, and student self-advocacy.
  • Recommend appropriate classroom strategies, accommodations, and supports.
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, related service providers, and IEP teams.
  • Complete service notes and progress documentation accurately and on time.

What You Will Need

  • Appropriate Pennsylvania Department of Education certification for teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Current Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal Background, and FBI clearances.
  • Experience supporting school-aged students with hearing impairments.
  • Ability to provide engaging virtual instruction and dependable communication.

Compensation and Engagement

  • Up to $66 per hour, based on qualifications and assignment.
  • Independent contractor opportunity with compensation processed monthly.
  • Flexible case selection based on provider and student availability.
