Nevertheless, as with many side hustle apps, users have conflicting opinions on whether Instawork is everything it claims to be and whether it’s worth signing up for.

How much you can earn

According to the Instawork website, contractors earn up to $30 per hour, and the average rate across all job types is above $20 per hour. However, pay rates on Indeed show that Instawork gigs tend to pay much less. 2
