Bingo Clash is a gaming app you can use to enter bingo tournaments and win real cash. Although you can use the app to play free games, its main appeal lies in the monetary rewards and “fabulous prizes” it promises.
But how much can you really win on Bingo Clash? Will it pay you big bucks, or can you make more from a conventional side hustle?
We sent our tester to find out.
Bingo Clash is an app made by AviaGames. As you might expect, it’s based on the classic game of bingo. It’s available through the mobile gaming platform Pocket7Games.
As of July 2024, the app has a rating of 4.4 in the App store (for iOS devices) and almost 100,000 reviews. It also has a rating of about 4½ stars and about 12,000 user reviews in the Samsung Galaxy store.
Bingo Clash is a real app. If you win enough games, you can win and withdraw actual cash.
However, we can’t say for sure that the app is completely “legit” in the sense of actually being fair. The app’s makers (Avia) have been targeted by multiple lawsuits accusing them of rigging games, using bots, and more.
For example, a class action suit filed against them in 2023 is still ongoing in California. This lawsuit has accused Avia of pitting their apps’ users against bots during games (instead of against other human opponents, as they promise to do). 1
It seems highly likely that Bingo Clash games are rigged. Avia has denied claims that this is the case, but there appears to be good evidence that Bingo Clash and Avia’s other games are unfair. 2
When you play Bingo Clash, you probably aren’t playing on a level field, which means that while it’s technically possible to win money, you’re significantly more likely to lose it.
Yes, Bingo Clash pays real money—if you can win enough games to make a profit. When we tested the app, we deposited $6 (to pay the entry fees for games), and eventually withdrew $4 of that.
This was obviously a net loss for us, but it proves that the payouts on Bingo Clash are real. It’s just very hard to earn them.
How you get your payouts will depend partly on the payment method you originally used to deposit money to enter games in the app.
When you withdraw, you’ll first get the amount you deposited as a refund via the payment method you originally used.
For example, if you used a credit or debit card to pay a $10 deposit to use for entry fees, you’ll get the first $10 of your payout as a refund to the same card.
Any extra money you withdraw above and beyond that amount will go to your PayPal account.
We spent about 2¼ hours playing Bingo Clash. We spent $6, and we ended up with a balance of $5.32 in withdrawable cash. However, we were only able to withdraw $4 of this balance, as we also paid $1 in fees and the app doesn’t let you withdraw change (just whole dollars).
This meant we lost $2 in total—not a devastating loss, but still a loss.
There’s a good chance that, like us, you’ll spend more than you lose on this app, so we wouldn’t recommend using it as a way to make money.
No, you technically don’t have to pay to play Bingo Clash. You can avoid spending money by earning credits in the app (called “Tickets” and “Bonus Cash”) and using these to enter games with real cash prizes.
You may also sometimes see outright free games you can enter.
With all of that said, Bingo Clash does heavily encourage you to spend real money, and our hunch is that most users end up doing so. Earning enough free credits to enter a significant number of games takes a very long time.
If you’ve ever played real bingo, you’ll already mostly understand how to play Bingo Clash, which is much the same but with a few added frills.
As in classic bingo, Bingo Clash has an announcer who calls numbers. You have to try to correctly “daub” (tap and mark off) numbers and get “bingos” to score points.
To get a bingo, daub any of the following sets of numbers:
When you get any of these sets of numbers, hit the “Bingo” button (at the bottom right of the app screen) as quickly as possible.
Your aim is to score more points than the other players in your game. Usually, there are around 4–8 players per game, although, as mentioned, some people allege that some or all of these may be bots.
If you daub a number wrongly or hit “Bingo” at the wrong time, you may get a penalty. We sometimes lost points for doing this during games, as shown in the screenshot below.
In Bingo Clash, every time you daub a called number correctly, you get “experience points,” which you can accumulate to get power-ups. Experience points fill up a meter at the bottom of your game screen.
The faster you react, the more experience you’ll earn. If you’re really fast, you can get one power-up for every two numbers you daub (approximately).
You can store your power-ups at the bottom-left corner of the screen (above the experience meter) to use when you want. However, there’s a two-slot limit for storing power-ups.

Confusingly, Bingo Clash sometimes refers to these power-ups by different names (e.g., the three power-ups in the screenshot above are also known as the G power-up, the Diamond power-up, and the x2 power-up).3
Bingo Clash games usually last for 1 minute and 30 seconds. However, the game will finish earlier if you get a full house (which means that there are no more numbers left to daub).
In Bingo Clash, there are different types of credits you can earn. Some of these allow you to directly enter tournaments with cash prizes; you can use others to qualify for tasks that will give you credits you can then use to pay cash match entry fees.
Below, we’ll explain how three types of credits work:
In Bingo Clash, Tickets are credits you can earn by completing tasks (including both free tasks and tasks that cost money).
You can use Tickets to enter certain cash tournaments. You can also swap them for Bonus Cash, which you can then use to enter cash tournaments. Per the screenshot below, 19,000 Tickets are worth $1 in Bonus Cash.
Bonus Cash is a type of credit that Bingo Clash uses (along with many similar apps). It’s different from withdrawable cash because you can’t cash it out; you can only use it to enter games (and potentially win cash prizes).
Bingo Clash has a bewildering array of other credits and rewards that can indirectly help you to get cash prizes. On top of Tickets and Bonus Cash (and normal cash), other types of credits on the Bingo Clash app include Spin Coins, Balloons, Jewels, Scratch Cards, and more.
These alternative credits usually allow you to play minigames or complete tasks that offer rewards in the form of Tickets and Bonus Cash.
In other words, you’re earning credits to help you win other types of credits to help you win cash. (If this system seems unnecessarily complicated to you, we agree.)
If all that wasn’t enough, you can also earn Gold Stars. These allow you to rank on the leaderboard if you win enough of them. This gives you the chance to win either real cash or Bonus Cash (it isn’t really clear which one) and Tickets.
The only way to make money directly on Bingo Clash is by entering cash tournaments and winning cash prizes. However, to do that, you have to pay entry fees.
In general, the larger the prizes you can win from a game, the more expensive the entry fees are.
While using Bingo Clash, we saw various games with entry fees ranging from nothing at all to $55; prize pools ranged from Bonus Cash amounts as low as $0.30 (and Tickets-only prizes) to $195.
We played a couple of games that had an entry fee of 300 Tickets for each. We came in third place on one occasion and in second place on another (out of five players). We won 300 and 600 Tickets, respectively, for these achievements.
We also played some games with Bonus Cash prizes. On paper, we did quite well in these. However, not all of our winnings were credited to our account, as you can see below.

We contacted customer support to find out why we hadn’t received all of our Bonus Cash. They replied to us promptly and explained that, to get the prizes we hadn’t received, we would need to deposit money on the app to get our account credited. We didn’t do this, so we lost some of our earnings.
Although the Bonus Cash prizes we received were nice, we were more interested in our winnings from games with cash prizes. We didn’t play any of the highest-stakes games, as we wanted to be cautious, but here’s what happened in the games we played:

The winnings above don’t include any of the extra Bonus Cash or Tickets rewards from tasks that were sometimes tacked on to the games (e.g., a task called “Scratch n Bingo” that gave us extra rewards when we played Bingo Clash matches).
All told, we spent about 2¼ hours and $6 playing Bingo Clash games (and trying to earn credits to use for entry fees). We ended up recouping $4, so we lost $2 in total.
As we’ve already mentioned, the only way to earn money directly on Bingo Clash is by entering matches with cash prizes. However, there are many other tasks you can do to earn credits that you can then use to enter cash matches.
Like many similar apps, Bingo Clash gives you a Daily Reward every day you use the app. This means free Bonus Cash (which you can use to enter cash matches) or Tickets (which you can exchange for Bonus Cash).
We collected the Daily Bonus on seven occasions. The best reward we got was $0.50 Bonus Cash plus 5,000 Tickets.
If you click on the “Rewards” tab at the bottom of the Bingo Clash app screen, you’ll find various games and tasks you can complete to get rewards, including credits to use in the app.
You can get many of these rewards for free without spending any money. For example, the “Lucky Box” feature gives you rewards just for clicking on it, and you can get these multiple times every day. There is also a “Spin & Win” feature that gives you rewards for spinning a lucky wheel.
In the “Rewards” tab, you can click on “Tasks” at the top of the screen to see more ways to win bonuses. Many will involve spending money to enter cash matches, so we recommend skipping these in favor of free earning opportunities.
However, if you’re already determined to spend money, it may be worth using offers like the ones shown below (e.g., by timing your matches in such a way as to get the bonus rewards that are up for grabs).
We visited the Rewards tab on Bingo Clash several times and tried out some of the features we found. These sometimes yielded worthwhile rewards; at other times, they were less worthwhile.
In the “Tasks” section, we had opportunities to get extra rewards for playing cash matches. Because we were already playing cash matches during our testing phase, we were happy to accept extra freebies for this, which included Tickets and Spin Coins (in-app credits you can use to earn more credits for playing cash games).

What’s more, not all of the features we tried in the “Rewards” tab were really rewarding. For example, we tried something called “Fortune Miner,” but we found that we needed to invite friends to use the Bingo Clash app in order to get any rewards from the feature, so we gave up on trying to use it.
In addition to the games you’ll see under the “Rewards” tab that we mentioned in the previous section, you’ll come across other tasks (e.g., watching ads) and games you can use to get more rewards.
We completed many more tasks in addition to the ones in the Rewards tab. Sometimes these got unlocked when we played enough games to level up (as described in the next section), but sometimes they seemed to become available for no specific reason.
For example, during some Bingo Clash games we played, there was a bonus activity called “Scratch n Bingo” that gave us extra Tickets just for playing normal Bingo Clash games according to the usual rules.
Another task the app sometimes offered gave us prizes—including Tickets and other types of credits—for watching advertisements (usually lasting for around a minute).
When you play games on the Bingo Clash app, you’ll earn XP. Once you earn enough, you’ll level up in the “Level Voyage” feature.
When you level up, you can get Bonus Cash, Tickets, and other types of rewards (e.g., scratchcards).
Level Voyage also unlocks other features that you can use to win yet more prizes.
As we progressed through the levels on Bingo Clash, we collected Bonus Cash, Tickets, and other types of in-app credits. The highest level we reached was level 6 (for which we got a prize of 800 Tickets).
As we progressed, the Level Voyage feature on Bingo Clash also sometimes unlocked new minigames and other features for us. For example, we unlocked the aforementioned Spin & Win lucky wheel when we reached level 2.
When you play cash matches on Bingo Clash, you win gold stars as well as cash and other types of rewards. Bingo Clash has a leaderboard that ranks the players with the most gold stars.
Bingo Clash says that users who make the leaderboard can win cash or Tickets. We’re not sure if they mean real cash as opposed to Bonus Cash (most apps only award Bonus Cash prizes and other in-app credits for leaderboard achievements).
We never made it onto the leaderboard, so we didn’t get any rewards from this feature.
To start playing Bingo Clash, you first need to download the app on a mobile device.
To get Bingo Clash, you can go to the homepage on Pocket7Games. This has an Android version of the app you can download, and it also has links to the App Store (for iOS devices) and the Samsung Galaxy store (although we found that both links took us to the App Store when we checked—presumably a mistake on their part).

As we’ve already stated, we recommend against paying money to play Bingo Clash. However, if you choose to do this, there are several ways to make a deposit:
The Bingo Clash help pages say that you can also pay via Xsolla, which is an online payment service used mostly for gaming. However, this option didn’t appear to be available to us when we deposited money in the app.
You can make payments in various denominations starting at $10, as shown in the screenshot below.
You may also sometimes see special offers for different deposit amounts, or that contain freebies like extra Bonus Cash, free credits, or free games.
We took advantage of one offer to make a deposit of $4—a smaller denomination than the app usually offers—which gave us an extra $2 in Bonus Cash, plus more in-app credits (4 Spin Coins and 40 Jewels).
We also made one deposit of $2, which gave us free entry into one Bingo Clash tournament per day.
Again, despite taking advantage of these offers, we lost money on the app. These bonus rewards might look tempting, but our advice is: stay away.
To withdraw money from the Bingo Clash app, you can go to the “Account” tab and then click on the “Withdraw” button.
The withdrawal method you can use will depend on how much you won and on how you originally paid any deposit money you used to enter games in the app. As mentioned, when you withdraw money you previously deposited, you’ll get it as a refund via the original payment method you used.
If you withdraw more money than you originally spent on deposits, Bingo Clash says it will pay the extra via PayPal. We weren’t able to test this, because we lost money.
Bingo Clash gave us contradictory information about how long withdrawals take.
One help page says you’ll usually receive withdrawals within seven days. Another help page says that it may take “seven days or more” for your bank or PayPal account to receive the money you withdraw.
When we requested our withdrawal, we received the message below, which said that we’d have to wait 2–15 days. However, we got our money the very same day, so Bingo Clash may have just been hedging their bets.
The minimum amount you can withdraw on Bingo Clash is $2. However, you will need at least $3 in total on your balance, as there is also a fee of $1 for withdrawals under $10.
Bingo Clash has a couple of different fees to watch out for. As we just said, there’s a $1 fee for any withdrawals under $10.
You’ll also pay a 15% fee if you withdraw a deposit after using less than 50% of it to fund cash matches. For example, if you deposited $50 and used only $10 (equivalent to 20%) of that money to play games, you would pay a 15% fee to withdraw any of the remaining $40.
One thing you need to know about withdrawing money on Bingo Clash is that you’ll lose all of your Bonus Cash when you do this. We lost $3.49 in Bonus Cash when we withdrew money from the app.
This feature is common among gaming apps like this, but it’s still a major drawback of using Bingo Clash, as it heavily disincentivizes withdrawing your money.
Anyone can play Bingo Clash, but not everyone can play cash tournaments, as these are banned in some parts of the US (since they count as gambling).

It’s possible they’re also unavailable in Arizona, Montana, and Tennessee; we’ve received conflicting information on that. (In the App Store, those are listed as banned states, but Avia itself makes no mention of that.)
You also have to be at least 18 years of age to play cash games. If you’re under 18, you’ll only be allowed to play free games. 4
If you like the idea of playing bingo and other games to earn money but you’re not sold on Bingo Clash, there are many other similar apps you can try.
